In LA Since 2005, under the direction of Alexandra Blackbird Pierre, Blackbird Dance Company has been a performance group and studio space serving Los Angeles area. Now in West Hollywood with classes, rentals, events and performances regularly! 

Blackbird is a quintuple threat performer, arts educator and community builder. As a Professor of Dance, she has a Masters in Education, ( + she is a Doctoral Candidate in Sports & Performance Psychology (Neurophysiology- geek) and she is an eclectic Choreographer and Creative Director in 70 styles of movement. Oh yeah, she has been performing in acting, dance, modeling, gymnastics and sports since she was 4. You will feel at home here- as we understand the many different layers involved in the current generations. Kids are definitely coming in wired differently now and we applaud this diversity.
